Album Vs. Track Debate Rages for Radiohead Fans

Radiohead continue their iTunes boycott because they insist you buy their entire albums and iTunes insists you be able to buy single tracks. While we buy the arguement of artist merit coming from Radiohead more than, say, hard rock hold-outs AC/DC (who recently and bizarrely are allowing their catalogue to be sold on Verizon phones) we’re still on the “embrace the changes in the consumption of digital music” side of the fence.
However, Wired reports that Radiohead are taking some tentative steps into digital nirvana. While you do still have to buy the full album they have made their catalogue available on 7digital as high quality MP3s. On the one hand, hell yes! No B.S. proprietary Apple format on the digital files! On the other hand, what the hell? What if I only want “You And Whose Army?” and not the rest of Amnesiac because it puts me to sleep?
